About

Beautiful Beaufort Alliance exists to help Beaufort residents understand the public decisions that affect their daily lives — from city council and county council votes to zoning changes, land use rules, and major development proposals.

Local government decisions often happen at weekday meetings, in long agenda packets, and in language that is hard to follow. This site aims to bring those decisions into plain view, explain what is at stake, and offer an honest opinion about them, so that more people can take part in the conversation and make their voices heard.

What you'll find here

Opinion — my own perspective on issues that I find interesting and on which I believe the public should understand more from my perspective.

Who writes it

Beautiful Beaufort Alliance is written by Graham Trask, a Beaufort-area property owner who cares about the future of the Lowcountry. Everything here is my personal opinion. Please see the disclaimer.
